Introduction

it is very evidential to say the “warrior king” has failed; a country with only over 30 million population, endowed with resources that you don’t have to travel more than 1km to find the precious gold in most of its regions across the country.

If I am not biased, gold alone is enough for the warrior king (Ghana) to stand against the rest of the world. If we’re not able to survive on gold, then cocoa wouldn’t be an option for the fast development we’ve all craved, as well as other commodities. It is scandalous to be proud of a warrior king who has no conducive domain to preen its inference.

Is it because of bad governance, or we have not yet had a bold ruler to lead this country?

Ghanaians are not dumb, it’s only greed; so are our leaders. But the napping lion has to be woken sometimes, for it is true we are far beyond aides. Take it or leave it, gold alone as our resource can even make this country flourish if it is governed.

It is not possible to say Nana Akufo Addo’s led government has declined the country’s progress from where he took over from Ex-President Mahama (2017). Statistics show that Nana’s led government has been performing immensely until the recent attacks on the global economy.

This is not the first time the world is going into recession. Many countries like Cuba survived it during the Second World War (1939 to 1945) by going the way of the socialists. And with tourism, they were able to revive the economy. https://www.britannica.com/event/World-War-II, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II).

So I only support the idea of the national cathedral on the basis of tourism (like “the year of return”), and not for worshipping purposes. Because we do not need to pray in cathedrals in order to be heard, we would have been okay with the way were worshipping Him (God).

Whether we like it or not; the war is here (Russia-Ukraine for now), and we barely know the next available decisions.

Like the man behind the mask said; “now is the time for bravery and creativity”. The problem is, we do not intend to change the government- the decision to do that will be suicidal considering the current state and the pedigree attained so far by this government.

Nana has fought well, he touched almost every sector of the economy with proven operating figures, except the mining sector which in my capacity I think he failed, and it is left to be discussed in later articles.

Under his administration in 2019, Ghana became the fastest-growing economy in the world and the 9th largest GDP in Africa.

His multipurpose decision to kill two birds with one stone made him exceptional. 1D1F is partly implemented though; that initiative has solved over 5000 direct jobs and will make a huge cut in importation if it is implemented fully. That is the way forward in building a country, and that fact cannot be challenged

Nana’s 307 provision of ambulances for the 275 constituencies wasn’t a bad idea, but check-ups and maintenance costs should have been the priority.

Nana has to be acknowledged for building the first Infectious Disease Centre in Ghana (GDIC), which has broadened the scope of the county’s medical diagnostics and research capacity.

Nana, as the 12th president of Ghana, might not have satisfied all needs, but he has brought free SHS back to stay. This has increased the literacy rate more than it used to be.

There are trackable records that cannot be detached from Nana. For the first time, the western region is having an interchange since independence, amongst Pokuase (four-level stack interchange) which transpires to be the first in West Africa.

With him (Nana), we’ve had a system that provides a digital address as well as postal codes for every 5squared meter location in Ghana (GPS) and most of the Ghanaian population now have an identity in the national database (NIA or Ghana card). https://ghanapost.com.gh/

Though power is expensive now,  we cannot deny its availability. There’s enough power to run businesses even in this time of economic crisis. This and many more is the reason why Nana cannot be discredited, he has indeed served the people of Ghana.

In my best opinion, Nana has to resign, after his brother’s resignation on completing the IMF deal. Which of-course the constitution allows that whenever the President dies, resigns, or is removed from office, the Vice-President shall assume office as President for the unexpired term of office of the President with effect from the date of the death, resignation, or removal of the President.

If truth be told, Nana has exhausted his stamina in controlling and checking-up activities both within and outside the country. Nana’s resignation after Ken Ofori Atta will be one of the most respected decisions in our history of Ghana politics and will save him the ridicule of throwing his hard-earned reputation into the mud by the current forces attacking the economy. That way, Dr. Bawumia can be accessed fully with the remaining years as the presiding President. Today, people look at Dr Bawumia as a failed economist despite his work and honors attained globally and for the party. If we deny him the chance to lead, in order to prove his competency for the remaining years, how do we market such a candidate for the coming presidential election (2024)? Trying him with

presidential powers is the only way to verify if he can really arrest the dollar, like he said, in his usual economic voice. That’s the only way to come out of the blank criticism and rebuild the lost reputation for himself and the party.

If we’re to vote today, there’s no way the ongoing economic woes will allow Dr. Bawumia to win over the Ex. president, Mahama. It’s definitely going to be a hard nut to crack. So for the above reason and my love for Ghana, I introduce to the people of Ghana a new “warrior king” (Ghana) who is outspoken, and not only as an economics expert in books, he’s an excellent practical businessman too. So he definitely knows how to negotiate. Do you wonder why he has not lost elections since 2000 as a Member of Parliament to the seat of Assin North?

The man behind the mask

Anas Aremeyaw’s empty undercover documentary is targeted at bringing “the man behind the mask” down. Assuming the motivation for releasing this undercover (Galamsey economy) was to restore investor confidence, by exposing all those cutting deals at the expense of the state and making Ghana unpopular to investors; why do you film a minister of state, at the finance ministry (who has the power of the state to make deals that are attractive for investors) in February 2018 and decide to release it after almost 5years (Nov 2022)?

This is an indication of “something not met“. Because if the video was filmed before the story of Kwesi Nyantekyi and the intent was to expose corruption and not to be discriminatory or blackmailing;  it should have been released together with that of Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi’s story.

None of the captures made sense unless they were schemed to defame Hon Kennedy Agyapong. his recent release confirmed Anas’ intentions to retaliate against Hon Kennedy for revealing his identity as a blackmailer.

The purpose of this modus operandi by Anas was to make Kennedy the culprit for the death of Ahmed Hussien Suale. Though Ken’s influence and words can incite such acts, it does not make him the culprit.

Hon Kennedy Agyapong has worked so hard for Ghana to allow anybody to throw that in the gutters. The release of this undercover video aims to attack his presidential decision. Anas simply wanted to frame it for people to believe Hon Ken had a hand in his boy’s death, but we know too much to understand people’s intentions.

The man for the job

Hon Kennedy Agyapong is known for many jobs; the unbeaten lawmaker and business tycoon has proven himself beyond all dispute, of his capability in leading the country in 2024.  it is expected of every leader to have excellent negotiating skills, as far as governance is concerned; and you cannot take that from Hon Ken.

Many have attested to his competence in doing business and we cannot undermine his ability to defend the country’s economy. His outstanding outspoken attitude towards communication has been a tool for justice for many Ghanaians. The fact is: we’re not breaking the eight (8) without him. Have you realized why despite the hardship of the economy, NPP is still ahead and in control of the communique? This brings us to why he’s being referred to as “the man behind the mask”. In simple terms; the backbone of the party (NPP) and the country as a whole.

A critical notice of the national agenda address by Ken on NET2 TV (October 25, 20222) constituted 80% of what the president (Nana) shared as his address to the nation on the economy (October 30, 2022). Nana’s address was an obvious modification of how Ken intends to unravel the problem of the economy. So those words you heard were Ken’s words in Nana’s voice.

However, Dr. Bawumia fiddled an incredible role in our 2020 victory, the election was won because of Ken. No wonder he’s made to chair the defense and interior committee, a member of the the judiciary committee, as well as a member of the the special budget committee.

Recent occurrences have made countries wish for bold leaders; and we cannot subvert that, in choosing a leader to lead the country. The fight has already started and we cannot risk putting the country into the hands of any comedian. Ken is known for minding his business and that is all we need in building the country.
