The founder of the Christ Kingship Prayer Centre is pleading with the government and all Ghanaians to reach out to the aged and the widowed.

According to the founder of the Christ-Kingship Prayer Centre; taking care of the aged or the widowed should be a social responsibility of the church. He continued by saying, “we cannot honour our parents only by respecting them’. The people who most need to be taken care of are those aged and widowed. So, as part of their end-of-year prayer conference which ended on 30th December 2022; the church visited a few places in and outside the district, specifically, Mpohor, Dominase, Pretsea Nkwanta etc., to offer prayers and gifts.

He also urged the government to be part of the initiative and recommended that; it wouldn’t be bad if these people enjoyed a small salary, free health,  and 100 per cent pension coverage, from the government.

Given this, Christ-Kingship is registering a foundation purposely to take care of the aged and the widowed. Also, advise the general public to be part of this exercise, because the only key to living long is taking care of, or honouring the old.
