The Table: A Beacon of Community Support

“The Table” is more than just an organization; it’s a group of dedicated men committed to improving each other’s life, impacting on generations and giving back to the community. As part of their annual festivities, this group has embarked on a mission to make a significant impact on the health and well-being of community members in Mpohor.

This year, the focus is on the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS). The goal is to enroll as many people as possible in the NHIS program and assist residents of Mpohor in renewing expired NHIS cards.

The initiative is scheduled for Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the Mpohor ICT Centre (opposite the Police station). The event will run from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm GMT. The members of The Table, along with NHIS officers, will be available at the program to answer any questions and provide detailed information about the scheme. They are encouraging all unregistered residents or those with expired cards to participate in this exercise.

 Aaron Afful, the Chairman of The Table, firmly believes that a Godly life is fundamentally rooted in good health. They understand that not everyone can afford proper healthcare, which is why they are willingly bearing the cost of the insurance.
