Acknowledgement
It is part of our journey to recognise kings and give to them. Words cannot express my gratitude to all kings and queens who had time to wish me well on my birthday (23rd November); my heart felt warm for the kind wishes. May God bless you all, Thank you.
Introduction
We are officially launching the Christ Kingship Prayer Centre on the 3rd of December 2022, at Pretsea Nkwanta, off Apowa-road (Opposite B-Bovid).
“Prayer is the raising of one’s mind and heart to God or requesting good things from God.” “It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart.” “Whether we realize it or not, prayer is the encounter of God’s thirst with ours. We humbly invite the general public to join us in prayers to experience the glory of the Lord as it fills the Temple.
Reputation and the name Kings.
First of all, the Bible is not a democracy or a republic. It is about a kingdom and the kings’ kids. As a matter of fact, if you want to understand the Bible, there are three things you must understand; a King, a kingdom, and the king’s kids– This is what the bible is about; it is not about religion.
The Bible is a book that has to deal with the decrees, the commandments, and the operations of a king– This is very important to understand.
Secondly, the original plan and purpose of God were to extend His invisible heavenly kingdom to a visible planet (earth). The plan originally was to have His invisible heavenly kingdom extended to a visible physical earth- That is what He desired or wanted.
Thirdly, God chose the concept of King and kingdom to describe His plan and programme for mankind and for the earth. Why is it important that God did not call Himself a Mayor? He did not call Himself a President, Governor or Prime minister; He specifically chose the term king and that is important because if you’re brought up in a democracy and you read the Bible from a democratic concept, you will misinterpret the Bible. And the other problem is; if you don’t know what a King is, then there’s no way you can understand the Bible. Because it was written from the perspective of a king’s mentality.
The fourth point is; Adam (dark earth) was ordered and created to rule over the earth for God. So man was created to be the ruler over the earth. The word ruler is the same word as king, and the word king and ruler are also defined in the Greek language as Vasilias, which is the same word for Dominion. So a king and dominion are the same; you cannot say a king without a domain. In other words, to have dominion means to be a ruler, and to be ruler means you’re automatically a king- And So God, His name is dominion. The Bible talks about God; in the book of Revelation, John heard them ascribing things to God and John said they said to God; “honour, glory, power and dominion be unto you o Lord.” So dominion means He’s king, and that is what we recognise God as.
NB: If God is a king, and man is created to rule on his behalf, then off-course there are qualities and characteristics that we need to learn about kingship that are very important.
- Kings possess the power of decree. Only kings have decrees. Prime Ministers, presidents, and governors don’t, and can’t decree anything.
- Kings, have reputation. And most of us don’t talk about reputation too much, because in a democracy there’s no real context of reputation. So if only kings have reputation then, I got to define what reputation is, because kings have it.
Reputation
A quick glimpse of the concept of kings and kingdoms from theological records (scriptures) according to Jesus; “Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants”. This is how Jesus described the Kingdom of God in Mathew 18:23, and you cannot ignore that statement. So, to understand anything Jesus said about His message, you got to understand kingship. The Kingdom of Heaven is really not about religion; it’s about royalty, and monarchy, and Majesty- it is about royal blood or the dignity of kings and their children. If we want to know how to relate to God, then we first have to learn how to be a prince and princess; Of course, religion doesn’t train you to be a prince nor princess. Religion trains you to be a sinner saved by grace; barely hanging on until the rapture comes, so you don’t even think in terms of being royalty.
If Prince William today from England gets lost, is he still a prince?
Absolutely.
Do you know what you are? You’re a lost prince.
Christ once tried to explain this; and he said the kingdom of God is like a man with two sons. And one of them decided to cut his relationship with the father, and he ended up in a pig’s pen, but he was still a son. When he decided to go home to the father, he was even going to settle for slave, but the scripture said; he was welcomed by the father as the lost son. That is exactly what we lost. And Jesus conferred to restore the kingdom back to us so that mankind can regain their reputation.
As a matter of fact, Elohim (God) is the ultimate king. God’s reputation is described biblically, in the book of Timothy as;
God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him, be honoured and might forever. Amen.
